This gîte (lodge) occupies the oldest part (late 18th century) of the house, which for many years was used as a janitor’s house. We carried out the works for this total renovation ourselves, restoring and preserving the authentic elements.
- The lodge can be booked for max. 5 people
- Check-in: access to the rooms from 4 pm.
- Check-out: before 11 am.
- Sheets, towels and kitchen towels are provided and included in the price.
- We ask for a 20% deposit payment at reservation.
The equipment includes:
- a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with authentic bread/pizza oven
- bathroom with rain shower
- a cozy living room around the fireplace
- two sleeping rooms
- one with a kingsize bed (2 persons)
- one with a bunk bed for 2 or 3 person
- Private terrace with views over the Arroux and Loire valleys and the Monts de la Madeleine
- Use of the swimming pool and the hot tub (shared with the second gîte “L’écurie”)
- Acces to the domain which covers +- 4 hectares, with different relaxation areas in the forest, by the pond, along the stream, in the vegetable garden or in the middle of the meadow with views of the mountains of Mâcon and the Beaujolais.
